TISS Administration Bans Student's Forum : Progressive Students' Forum (PSF)

TISS Administration Cracks Down on Student Collective

In a move that has sparked controversy, the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) administration has issued a notice calling for an immediate ban on the Progressive Students' Forum (PSF), a student collective, across all its campuses. The administration claims that PSF is an "unauthorised" and "illegal" forum.

The ban has been met with resistance from students associated with PSF, who have termed the order "undemocratic". The move comes after Ramadas K S, a research scholar and member of PSF, was suspended in April.

Students have expressed concerns that the ban is an attempt to stifle dissenting voices and curb student activism on campus. The TISS administration's decision has sparked a debate on freedom of expression and student rights.

The fate of PSF and its members remains uncertain, as the student community waits with bated breath for further developments.
