According to Joint Director Kamna Sachdeva, classes for the first batch end by 1:30 pm, eliminating the need for a lunch break. However, students are furious about having to adapt to eight hours of continuous classes without a break.
The move has been met with widespread criticism, with students expressing concerns about their physical and mental well-being. "How are we supposed to focus on our studies without a break?" asked a frustrated student. "This decision is inconsiderate and will lead to burnout."
Despite the backlash, DSEU authorities remain adamant that the change will improve academic efficiency. However, students are demanding a rethink, citing the need for a break to recharge and refocus.
As the controversy continues to simmer, it remains to be seen whether DSEU will reconsider its decision or find alternative solutions to address student concerns. One thing is certain – the removal of the lunch break has left a sour taste in the mouths of DSEU students.
